Saying it with flowers

Our gardener Dawn is planting out the summer bedding plants today, a mix of geraniums and begonias. The hanging baskets went up this week too. Here’s a pic of the new flower border we built in the winter – it’s coming to life nicely now.

Something for the weekend sir?

Unusually, we’ve had a fairly good run of pre-owned holiday caravans coming to market over the last few months which has enabled a good number of new customers to join us here at the park. Pre-owned caravans are usually as rare as unicorns and when they come available for sale they get snapped up very quickly.

What’s not to like?

It’s a Bank Holiday, the park is full and we’ve been treated to glorious warm sunshine all weekend. Whitstable was packed too and our Stella had the pool open for the first time this season. Happy days.

Special delivery . . .

Tony the caravan transport man delivered our Willerby Sierra today. The photo shows the master bedroom (which has an en-suite), and this holiday home also comes complete with central heating, double glazing, and an integrated fridge/freezer and microwave.

Snow place for a holiday!

We’ve got a blanket of snow and last night was minus 12 degrees – not helpful when we’re scheduled to open the park in Friday! If this persists we’ll have to consider delay the park opening opening for a few days. Still, you can’t argue that it certainly looks very pretty.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! It’s been a funny old day today. The season’s now finally closed for our holiday home owners 🙁 but this award came in the post for our touring & camping field amenity block. We’ve held Gold and Platinum awards since 2011 and the Loo of the Year people tell us we’re the only ones with this accolade in the area.
