We’ve previously been awarded a Five Star Tourist Board rating and Platinum Loo-of-the-Year award, no doubt our shower block helped impress the inspectors! Our camping pods are still proving popular and we’ve had plenty of favourable comments about them.
If you’re not familiar with us, we’re just over a couple of miles from famous Whitstable, and about fifteen minutes on foot from the beach and Saxon Shore-way at Seasalter. 8 of our pitches are grassy and level, and 32 of our pitches are hard standing, all with the benefit of inclusive electric, water and grey-water drainage.
This includes unlimited 24hr use of our Platinum Loo of the Year award winning shower & loo block, hair driers and lashings of hot water, 10 amp electric hook-up, electric, water and drainage on every pitch.
The majority of pitches are hard standings and pretty level, we do have a few grass pitches as well, most of them are demarked by hedges and all of them have inclusive services of water, electric, TV point, lighting, and waste drainage. Our loos and showers are graded Platinum in the Loo of the Year awards and to access the disabled facilities you’ll need your RADAR key. With only forty three pitches this does mean that for busy times of year you’ll have to make a reservation, oh and if you were wondering, they are in a separate area from the big static caravans, see the park map above. PRICES & AVAILABILITY
Although our pitches are sized well we do have some issues with jumbo tents motor-homes and tourers big enough to accommodate a travelling circus. So, to this end, and to obey our fire regulations, we won’t accept tents of more than eight berths, or longer than 7m or wider than 4m (max 7 x 4meters excluding the rope bits). If you think your tourer, tent, or motor-home might fall into the above category give us a call before you book to save any red faces on arrival. Watch our park video.

10 amp electric supply (free) is on every pitch but you’ll need to bring an extension lead with a blue round-pin plug on one end of it to connect up. Please note our hook-ups are not safe for EV charging – we have an EV charging station near reception.
Shop We don’t have one but there’s a nice little Co-op only eight or so minutes walk down the road, there is also a small shopping centre up the road which includes M&S, Aldi and home bargains, and we do have a freezer in reception for your ice packs (no food items though please).
Check-in & check-out times – earliest check-in time is 1:00pm and latest check-out time is 11:00am.
Barbecues are allowed (please keep them at least a foot up off the grass) but open fires are prohibited. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times, and, please use the poo bins provided, or else we’ll set the bears on you!
Church Lane gets narrow so if you’re towing or driving a camper van make sure you approach it from the Thanet Way end (A299).
Weather permitting, we open our gates on April 1st (or Good Friday, if it’s in March). We then stay open throughout the season until the end of the Autumn Half-Term break.
