Not a frosty reception

It’s been a fairly quiet January here on park. There’s been a steady trickle of phone bookings for the touring field and our camping pods, and several customers have called in to look at the holiday homes we have for sale, two of them snapping up New Year bargains in the process.

This week two of our customers have bought themselves a very happy Christmas in the form of a new caravan each! One’s a Brockenhurst and the other is a Linwood (pictured as it was being sited on the owner’s chosen plot yesterday), both models from the Willerby range of holiday homes.

Our touring & camping field closes its gates for the 2018 season today. We hope you enjoyed your stay if you were one of our visitors, and, we’d like to thank our Bernie and Bam for helping keep our facilities spic and span.

65 years at Homing

It’s a happy and sad day today because after sixty five years, yup sixty five, we’re saying goodbye to the Keegan/Roberson family (Mrs Keegan is now 98 years young!). We pride ourselves on providing holiday memories for generations of families and here’s living proof! Best wishes for the future from all the Homing Park team.

2019 is here!

This may look like just another holiday caravan being unloaded after it’s journey from the factory in Hull – but to us it’s the start of the 2019 season because this is Willerby’s new Linwood model, a 2019 model year caravan.

The hot summer continues

British winters can drag but this summer has certainly made up for the cold and damp. Who needs to jet off to Greece or the Algarve when UK weather forecasters can deliver us weeks on end of high 20’s and low 30’s. Happy days!

Lights, camera, action . . .

This weekend we’ve had a couple of cameramen on park with their techy gizmos capturing some footage to make a small promotional video for us to use on the website and on our Facebook page. It’s not going to be a Gone With The Wind type of production – just 20 or 30 seconds showing the park in it’s natural setting and the facilities on offer, with a bit of music in the background.

Posting the post

It’s a busy office day today, collating papers and stuffing envelopes with caravan owner’s newsletters and insurance renewal invites. It’s not all glitz and glamour here!

We’ve been out watering the newly planted summer bedding plants too.

Coming out of hibernation

We gave the grass in touring and camping field it’s second cut of the year today and we think it looks quite smart, the photo doesn’t do it justice though.

It’s Easter next weekend and we’ve been fully booked up for a couple of weeks.
